Joshagan is a village situated slightly north of the well-known Persian city of Isafahan.
Rugs and carpets have been produced in the Persian village of Joshagan for several centuries. Joshagan is situated just north of the famous Persian city of Isfahan. Rugs weaved by the people of Joshagan are, in some ways, comparable to rugs made in the large region of Hamadan. The term Joshagan is familiar to many as there is an old piece kept in the Victoria & Albert museum in London.
These rugs have highly defined geometric patterns and are among the finest quality of all nomadic rugs. They are highly durable.
