STUDIO MCGEE
@StudioMcGee
One of our favourite designers is Studio McGee. If you have a "Dream Home" Pinterest board brimming with interior design aesthetics, chances are you've stumbled across a Studio McGee project without realising. Founded by Shea and Syd McGee, Studio McGee is an interior design firm with a light, bright aesthetic that has attracted a staggering 2.4m followers on Instagram.
As the interior designer in the duo, Shea has a phenomenal sense of style. Her signature style is so recognisable; classic but still refreshingly modern, yet each home has its unique feel. Balance is always found in a room designed by Studio McGee, and juxtaposing masculine and feminine details is a trend you will find throughout their projects. We also love how Shea incorporates many beautiful statement Persian and Oriental rugs into her decor, without overwhelming the interior space.
Filled with images flawlessly in line with their fresh, coastal interior style, Studio McGee’s Instagram is one to follow immediately. Whether they’re working on a new build, promoting their new merchandise, or sharing a favourite project by another designer - Lilla Rugs is sitting front row, and we don’t plan on moving any time soon!
