Varamin (Veremin) rugs are hand woven in the city of Varamin and it's surrounding areas. They are traditional in style and among the most authentic of Persian rugs - due to their design and use of motifs.
The most common design among Varamin rugs is the "Mina Khani" design. The foundation is usually cotton and the Persian Senneh-knot is used (as opposed to the more widespread Turkish knot).
