The Qashqai are renowned for their exquisite pile carpets and other woven wool products, often referred to as "Shiraz" due to the city’s historical role as a major marketplace for these rugs. The wool sourced from the mountains and valleys near Shiraz is particularly soft and vibrant, absorbing deep colours that enhance the beauty of each piece. Qashqai rugs are celebrated as "probably the most famous of all Persian tribal weavings," showcasing intricate designs that reflect the rich cultural heritage of the Qashqai tribe. 

Kilim's are flat tapestry woven rugs. They are produced by tightly interweaving the warp and weft strands of the weave to produce a flat surface with no pile.
