Browse our wonderful collection of handmade Afghan rugs. From Kilim's, to Kazaks, Zieglers, and so much more. Our range Afghan oriental carpets and rugs are sourced from the weaving areas in West Afghanistan. Our Afghan collection includes both hand knotted wool rugs, and Afghan Kilim rugs. As well as traditional afghan rug designs, some rugs have Persian and Caucasian designs.
Kilims differ to traditional rugs in that they have no pile. While a rug’s fibres stand upright, a kilim is woven in a Flatweave/ Slitweave method, meaning the fibres lie flat.

A tribal rug made in Afghanistan. Also known as 'Mushwani' rugs. These rugs are unique as they have a combination of flat weave and pile rug weaving techniques. This means that parts of the rug are flat, like a Kilim, and other parts are raised. This creates a distinctive texture and highlights the tribal design.
