A Persian Sarouk rug is a from the Markazi Province in Iran. Sarouk (also Saruk, Sarough, Saruq) rugs are woven in the village of Saruk and also in the city of Arak and surrounding countryside. 

They are know for their brilliant quality - lasting decades of wear. This is what makes them among the bestselling of all Persian rugs. They are made from a tough wool, using a Persian knot. They mostly come in traditional floral designs.

Koliai rugs are woven by the Kurds, renowned for their weaving skills. they are firmly tied with a high pile and a saturated colour scale. Koliai rugs often have large patters, geometrical figures and use of fairly dull colours. The workmanship is strong; the carpets are heavy and compact with good durability.

Persian Yazd rugs are very fine and beautiful. They are good quality and durable, so good for high traffic areas. They are characterised by strong reds/ pinks with a brown/ beige/ cream border.
