Interior Designers: How We Work With You At Lilla Rugs

One of the main reasons I started Lilla Rugs was to work closely with Interior Designers. Interior Design has always been a passion of mine and I've watched close friends of mine set up their own Interior business' over the years. 

I truly believe that a rug is what ties a room together and makes a house feel like a home. I understand it can be one of the most tricky parts of the procurement stage. There are so many barriers with handmade rugs, and so it often feels easier to go with something 'off the shelf'. 

I hope that I can help take some of the difficulties off your hands, and make the process smooth enough that we become your go-to for all your handmade rug needs on projects. 

So how does it work?

You open a trade account with us, which is very painless. All we require are your credentials, so that we know you are a trade member. 

What do you gain as a trade member? 

1. Personalised recommendations. You can simply reach out to me with your required sizing, design details for the scheme, and an approx budget. I will then sort through the treasure trove of rugs we have and email through a list of recommendations. I help your client sell in by placing imagery and full rug details into a document, alongside any other specs needed. 

2. Direct contact with myself (Camilla, the founder). This really is my favourite part of my job and so it's important to me that we form a great working relationship and partnership. You can reach out to me personally for any help required on your projects, or even just for general rug advice.

3. A competitive discount. You can access our trade discount with a code directly on our website, or we can add it to direct invoicing if preferred. 

4. Priority access to house visit services. The best way to make decisions on rugs is for us to bring a shortlist to your client's home and try them in situ, there and then. We have a 100% success rate with house visits, as there is nothing like seeing a rug in the space. (Top tIp: If you can't book in a house visit, use our handy 'view in your space' feature on your mobile phone to drop the rug into the room virtually).

5. Access to our bespoke services. In the event that you would like to create something bespoke for a project, we have all the necessary contacts to help you create the perfect rug to a high standard, with reasonable lead times.

6. Follow Up Care. We provide care guides and instructions for your clients where needed and can help provide a hand clean service for any future cleans and repairs.
