WHAT IS BLACK FRIDAY & CYBER MONDAY?

While Black Friday originated in America to mark the start of the Thanksgiving rush, it’s since taken off in the UK too, after Amazon held the first Black Friday sale in 2010 for us Brits. The popularity of the weekend has only continued to grow, with more and more retailers taking part – often running huge sales with up to 50% off. The sales weekend starts on the 27 November and continues through until Monday 30th November, which is typically known as Cyber Monday as this was when shoppers would head online. Obviously, this year, we would hope you'd be doing most shopping online given the Coronavirus restrictions, and as for the future, we’re only expecting it to gain more traction.
