Looking for a design event to attend this year? Update your calendar because 100% Design is one of the most prominent UK trade shows, and city-wide design weeks to unearth some of the industry’s most influential people, and we will be showcasing our rugs there! The event will take place this month at London’s iconic venue, Olympia London. Packed with innovative ideas and emerging brands, the focus will be on striking installations, stimulating collaborations and high-end design for a fresh new approach.
A firm favourite in the design festival for retailers, developers, designers and architects looking to source products for their upcoming projects. Attending top design events are a great opportunity to inspire us with the most talented people in the design industry. The event will be open to the public on Saturday, so if you don’t have plans already, pop this one into your diary. You’ll gain insights into new interior design trends which will be sure to delight and inspire you.
We thought it was the perfect destination to showcase our Overdyed rug collection alongside world-leading designers – as well as giving you a taster of the new collection we have been working on!
FEATURING OVERDYED

The collection we are featuring in this years 100% Design event will be the Overdyed rugs collection. Beautifully handmade and gathered from the far corners of Iran.
This collection has been carefully selected before going through a unique process of colour neutralisation, and then overdyed in exciting new colours to give the rug a new lease of life with a contemporary twist. Only naturally dyed carpets with natural wool fibres can be used to get the most out of this effect. In recent years, overdyed rugs have become very popular with interior designers and can be seen commonly in modern interior shoots on Pinterest, Instagram and other social media platforms.
Overdyed rugs are also known as distressed rugs; they represent a trend that has crossed over between fashion and home decor. Not only are they beautiful, fashionable, sustainable and handmade, but they can also be very affordable as well. Our main focus, apart from being on-trend, is that you are contributing to an ecological and sustainable technique, by recycling a traditional rug which can be preserved over generations to come.

The metallic copper trend continues to remain popular amongst the world of interior decor. We fell in love with Proper Copper after seeing their innovative designs. Both aesthetic and functional, they use industrial materials like copper and brass to create beautiful handmade and tailored designs to suit your needs. Copper has a versatility which means it can be combined with a diverse colour palette and interior trends. Whatever your style, Proper Copper can create a rich industrial atmosphere with delicate copper tones. I think it’s fair to say that I'll be incorporating some of these designs into my new home!
