Hotel decor of our dreams! Tapping into a Wes Anderson colour palette, the interiors at Eden Locke are incredibly clever and beautiful. Eden Locke has given themselves the moniker aparthotel, meaning not quite an apartment but not quite a hotel either.
Undoubtedly, Eden Locke’s interior is worthy of it’s own Pinterest page. A design-led and lifestyle-luxe Edinburgh aparthotel - mixing mod with retro, chic with cool, vintage with luxe, and monochrome with sorbet-shade pastels (think mint greens, sorbet-soft pinks, and warm greys).
Eden Locke has 72 state-of-the-art stylish studio rooms, perfect for both weekend trips and long-haul stays. Boasting a more casual vibe than your typical hotel stay, it’s a fabulous destination for locals and travellers to sleep, eat, drink and play.

THE ROSE HOTEL, KENT

The Rose hotel really is a game-changer. Once a tired hostel, Chris and Rachel Rowley got their hands on it and transformed it into a design paradise, fusing eclectic design with luxurious style.
Sitting pretty on the south coast of Kent is the charming seaside town of Deal. Deal flaunts vintage record shops nestled next to quaint tea rooms and artisan shops. At the heart of this remarkably trendy community is The Rose Hotel.
The town setting is decidedly more sleepy, which makes the inventive food and strikingly convivial common spaces all the more special (the ‘Press for whisky’ button in the teal bar says it all).
When you enter the bedrooms, you see where the charm of this gorgeous hotel lies. Punchy artwork, plush Persian and Oriental rugs, and tropical planting all go a long way to reiterate the sense of homeliness.
All 8 rooms have their own personality, with solid base colours set against the dark timber floors, lavishly opulent bed heads, and cute vintage furniture.
THE ZETTER TOWNHOUSE, CLERKENWELL

The Zetter Townhouse is English Eccentricity at its very best. With sumptuous interiors by Russell Sage, the team at The Zetter Townhouse liken it to a private home of an eccentric ancestor that they like to call ‘Aunt Wilhelmina.'
If you want to indulge, this is the place to do it. The Zetter Townhouse is a super cool and quirky hotel in London’s historic Clerkenwell. We love that it’s more than just a little bit different - packed full of collectables, taxidermy, and unmissable Victoriana, it’s easy to see why The Zetter Townhouse has enjoyed reverberating success from the day it opened in 2011.
A lovely, under-the-radar hotel that’s for real London lovers with a jolly upper crust vibe. The rich and flamboyant rooms feature beautiful sash windows with collections of antique Oriental rugs and reclaimed furniture. Expect Union Jack flags flying from the beds, and (somewhat more discreetly) in the colours chosen for the throws.
The sumptuous lounge, known as Seymour’s Parlour, provides bespoke cocktails, it's dedicated to a notorious ancestor known affectionately as Wicked Uncle Seymour. Quirky, cool, and cosy all in the same breath is what makes it one of my favourite London hangouts.
