Afghan Kunduz Rugs are really intricately handknotted rugs. They are handmade in Kunduz and its surrounding villages in northern Afghanistan.
They are known for their finer quality, more so than Afghan Khan Mohamadi Rugs. The knotting is fine, which creates a smooth and velvet like pile.
The dominant colour of Afghan Kunduz Rugs is red.
